Wokeism Snares Another Famous Christian
One of the saddest examples, to me personally, of Christians falling away in these end times is that of Kevin Max from the band DC Talk. Faithwire recently published a story about Max's apostasy, labelling him "exvangelical" and citing several of the singer's recent tweets about the "deconstruction" of his faith.
According to the piece by Faithwire, Max says he's been "progressing for decades." What exactly does that mean? Just chalk it up to shedding his conservative Christian values in exchange for the new progressive, liberal state of "wokeness" that everyone's raving about these days. See his tweet below for a very clear definition of what that belief system entails.
Max claims that being "exvangelical" doesn't mean he's no longer a Christian. It simply means he now follows "the Universal Christ."
Whatever that means.
What motivated this sudden break from your faith, Kevin? Especially in times like these when prophecies are flying off the pages of the Bible and occurring on an almost daily basis? Don't you notice the birth pangs, Kevin? Can't you see how they validate the word of the God? How can you be so blind? Jesus told us LET NO MAN DECIEVE YOU!
Somewhere, demons are clapping.
I hate this, friends. I truly hate to see so many of God's children being led astray at this late hour by the lies of the enemy.
