Syria Claims: Israel Conducted Air Strike in Damascus Area, 3 Soldiers Killed
The Syrian military has reported that an Israeli air strike in the Damascus area last night (2/23/22) resulted in heavy damage and the deaths of three Syrian soldiers. Sources claim that the Syrian air defense systems intercepted most of the missiles, which were fired from the Golan Heights region.
Syrian officials assert that this is the second strike carried out by Israeli forces in the last two days. The alleged first event was carried out against a military post in the Quneitra area.
