Canadian Government Working to Ease Assisted Suicide Restrictions
February 24, 2021
(WP) Harbingers Daily recently reported on a story in the Canadian Press that describes steps being taken by Canada’s legislature to further simplify a citizen’s wishes regarding personal euthanasia.
“Canada’s Senate passed Bill C-7 last week with amendments to expand the categories of who is eligible to die under the country’s already permissive euthanasia practice called Medical Aid in Dying (MAiD),” Harbinger’s Daily reported.
The revised bill must now be reviewed by the House of Commons, which will either accept or reject the amendments to Canada’s current laws regarding assisted suicide.
