Canadian Funeral Homes Have Effectively Become Execution Centers Thanks To Euthanasia Law
November 12, 2021
(HD): Some Canadian funeral homes have begun offering rooms where the consenting sick and the elderly can be killed prior to their wake and burial.
These new killing facilities are now able to offer an all-in-one package — death, wake, burial — thanks to the country’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) protocol that has been legal since 2016, and was expanded in 2021 to include people suffering with mental illness.
Paul Needham of Northview Funeral Chapel in London, Ontario, told CBC News this week that he had been receiving so many calls to provide a place for people to be killed that he finally decided to take advantage of the opportunity. He began to offer rooms for rent at his funeral home where the old and the sick could come to be killed, either by their own hand, or, more commonly, with the assistance of a doctor or nurse.
In the past year alone, Needham’s funeral home has facilitated the killing of 23 sick and old people.

Watch Post Commentary: The Watch Post started following this disturbing trend last year after the Canadian law was passed. While proponents of assisted suicide refer to the practice as euthanasia, the fact remains - taking a life is committing a murder. Supporters try to justify the action in many ways, some calling it merciful, others dignified. It's as if the practice solves a huge problem for society by lifting the heavy burden of taking care of the sick and dying. Why bother? Just throw them out with the weekly trash and get on with your life and responsibilities.
Here's the problem. Our lives are not our own to take. God created mankind in His image. Later, Jesus did the most powerful thing he could ever have done in dying for us on the cross at Calvary. Both of these actions clearly define the inherent value of a human life. It doesn't matter the stage of that life. Do you think that if Jesus had not been able to heal lepers he would simply have sent them off to be "put to sleep?" Of course not! He healed them and set them free to live the gift. Similarly, rather than feeding the orphaned and the widows, why didn't he just instruct his disciples to kill them in order that their misery cease and they might more quickly be reunited with God in heaven?
We live by the grace and authority of God the Father. He will keep us here until our race is over, our work finished. Since He is the author of our destiny, aren't we denying his will by deciding to stop living before he has actually called us home?
